AZMO Consulting & Executive Services, Inc (AZMO) was formed in 2008 to bring together the marketing expertise of Ms. Alexandra Zimmerman, managing partner, with the business development expertise of Mr. James Movich. Having worked together on numerous projects over the past 10 years, they hold a winning track record on proposals for the defense industry, and the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Ms. Alexandra Zimmerman (Alyx) has been working in business development and marketing for over 15 years with experience ranging from graphic design, to sales and marketing, to proposal management. She has worked for Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Defense Services companies submitting RFIs, RFQs, LOIs as well as large proposals in response to FAR Part 15 RFPs. She has successfully won Government contracts ranging from $4M to $600M. She also has authored numerous sections within Technical, Management and Past Performance Volumes. She has previously worked for KBR, ITT Systems, First Support Services Inc, and Agility Government Defense Services, all top Government Defense clients. In 2009, Ms. Zimmerman managed proposals winning over $80M, and was a major contributor on more than $175M in Federal contract awards. Mr. James Movich has over 30 years experience implementing and managing business development and proposal operations. He is exceptionally skilled in sales strategy, proposal strategy, win strategy and cost strategy development. He has utilized a variety of the sales and proposal development methodologies (such as GO™, LORE™, and Carew™) and applied his own methodologies gleaned from his experience in winning government contracts adding to his clients’ success. Mr. Movich has started new-venture business development and proposal operations for major companies and small companies alike. He has held leadership roles to evaluate, organize, and revise proposal organizations, processes, and departments, and led business development and proposal activities resulting in government service contracts for KBR, DynCorp, PA&E, Raytheon, Fluor, ITT, First Support, Agility, and others. He understands government acquisition processes and how to prepare a winning proposal. Over the past 5 years, James has won his clients over $1.3 billion in federal contract awards.
